![]() This pod allows you to search for YouTube videos, play and pause them for everyone in the room, create playlists, and much more. One of the most exciting new Custom Pods available is the fantastic YouTube Pod from eSyncTraining. This allows phone and tablet participants to view and interact as they would from a desktop. Now specifically designed Custom Pods, developed with HTML5, can be run within a meeting running on the Adobe Connect Mobile application. ![]() ![]() With Adobe Connect, you install Custom Pods, which can be found on our Apps page, into your meeting room to add new functionality to your room. It’s a bit like having a smart phone and installing apps to add new functionality to your phone. Our new branding aligns the Adobe Connect icons and logotype with the rest of the Adobe products in our division – we’re part of a large family of amazing products from Adobe – now it shows more than ever!Ĭustom pods are like mini-applications that run inside your meeting. One of the first things you will notice when you open the new version is our new icon and branding. Don’t worry – most of you are using our hosted environment and will be automatically upgraded to support this. We needed to make some changes to support the new security model, and I’m excited to tell you that they’re here in the new Adobe Connect Mobile version 2.4.10! To support launching the Adobe Connect Mobile application from a URL, you will need to upgrade your Adobe Connect Mobile application, and ensure that you are working with an updated Adobe Connect Server (version 9.4.2 or higher). However there has also been a security change that has affected how you launch applications from a URL that might be on a web page, or embedded in an email – and this affects the Adobe Connect Mobile application. I have a ticket open with F5, but don't have a resolution yet (Upgrade was done the morning of the 19th, and Adobe app was moved back to the 4.I know that many of you are eager to update your iPhones and iPads to the new iOS 9 operating system – there are some significant and appealing enhancements. I'm hoping someone else has run into this and can provide some ideas. During the time that the Edge servers were unable to connect to the VIP, that VIP was serving internal users directly with no problems. This resulted in connections backing up on the edge servers at which point those web servers would stop responding. These connections would work for 3-5 minutes at which time they would be unable to connect to the virtual server that load balances the connect web app on the origin servers. ![]() Our internal setup is basically the same design as shown in the Deployment guide on F5's website. The https connections from the dmz, get routed thru the bigip engines via a forwarding virtual server (0.0.0.0:0, all ip protocols). Basically the edge servers proxy https connections from users into our internal network where another HA pair (9.3.0 pair of 1500s) is load balancing the origin servers (running both the connect web app and the meeting servers) using SSL termination on the BigIPs. All other apps worked fine with the 9.4.6 pair, but the Adobe Connect app ran into problems. I attempted to swap out the 4.5.10 Bigips with a 9.4.6 pair. I have an Adobe Connect application with edge servers in the dmz behind a 4.5.10 HA pair of 2400s.
